EXPERIENCED LEAD CARPENTER - $30-$38/hr, Full time

ELEA HEALY - Remodelists is dedicated to the betterment of the remodeling industry. We are seeking a collaborative, communicative, and considerate onsite field supervisor and carpenter with a tool bag full of skills and experience but always seeking to learn more and get better. 

 

Are you a skilled craftsperson who knows houses and loves working on remodeling projects of all scales and styles? Are you skilled in rough-framing, detailed millwork installation, and getting things done? We are looking for someone to join our Remodelist team who can hold their own on site, moving tasks forward and keeping an eye on everyday activities. Our Field Remodelists are expected to be easy to talk to, supportive of coworkers and clients alike, and have professional habits that are in step with being in people’s homes. 

 

At ELEA HEALY, we believe that skilled craftspeople are valuable and should be compensated accordingly. In addition to base wages, this position includes a generous paid time off, holiday, health care package, tool allowance, and tech/wellness reimbursements.   • Field site and team supervision

  • Experience working with budgets or estimations

  • Rough framing

  • Fine millwork installation

  • Cabinetry installation

  • Certifications or trainings such as OSHA or hazardous materials safety, project management, design, remodeling, or construction labor

  • Computer skills, including Google Suite, construction project management software, or constituent relationship management software, or construction design software

  • Team player

  • Collaboration

  • Communication

  • Professionalism

  • Growth mindset

  • Commitment to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion

  • Valid US Driver's license

  • Must be able to withstand long hours of concentrated physical activity

  • Must be able to work on ladders or scaffolding as necessary

  • Must be able to lift 50lbs

 

Additional skills that are a plus, but not required:

  • Ability to speak multiple languages
